Another Day Late

What the rock scene needs is an adrenaline shot to the heart. An overdose of screamo and energy drinks has left rock convulsing on the floor, like Uma Thurman in Pulp Fiction. Another Day Late is that shot — or maybe they’re just John Travolta. ADL brings welcome change and logical progression toward an entirely new brand of rock, breaking the scene’s stagnant coma. At the intersection of genre lines, ADL mixes soothing melodies and aggressive guitar-work with a sense of urgency, offering a unique alternative to fans growing tired of the “scene.” The music is edgy enough to pull in the hardest of rockers and catchy enough to grab hold of the mainstream market. ADL is Coheed & Cambria without the science fiction and Circa Survive infused with testosterone.
A year and a half after releasing their first demo, the Another Day Late name has spread rapidly by hard work and word-of-mouth — not only in upstate New York, but throughout the whole country. Helping ADL immensely were shows like the Poughkeepsie, NY date of the Taste of Chaos Tour, as well as being the only unsigned band playing the main stage at this year’s G-Rock Beach Ball on the Jersey Shore. But dates don’t make the band – the audience does. And in less than 25 minutes on the Taste of Chaos stage, ADL won over thousands of screaming fans as well as many people on the tour. All day, managers and employees approached ADL asking what label they were affiliated with. Stage Manager Eliza Reilly even said that ADL had “the best crowd response of any Myspace band playing the tour.” It’s been feedback like this that has fueled ADL’s growth and ambition.
Another Day Late recently hit the road from New York to Florida on a very successful tour, promoting their first full-length, Ambers & Embers (release date July 1st). Recorded with gold- and platinum-awarded producer, Alex Perialas (Anthrax, Bad Religion, S.O.D., Manowar, Ginuwine, Ayliah), the new material shows the growth of the last two years; it’s developed and matured, with even more catchy vocal melodies and guitar hooks that had fans loving ADL from the start.
ADL’s passion for music, drive to perform and undeniable marketability has built a solid foundation to grow from. Listen to the music and see for yourself why Another Day Late is a band on the brink.
