The Allergies

So it all started about 6 years ago with a couple of friends that just wanted to do something no one else was doin. So the members at the time Doug e , Salminilla , Donny boy and Fat John started getting together and playing. Starting at all early ages ranging from 15 to 17 the 4 fucks began playing shows and making a name for them selfs. Playin around in Denver and surrounding areas and opening for such bands as ( Throw Rag , Street Dogs, Flogging Molly, The Briggs, Soda Pop Kids, U.S. BOMBS, ACO, The Breifs and many more. Well the boys do a couple of west coast tours and come to find that the life on the road just wasnt for everyone , and end up losing donny boy and fat john. Now just Doug e and Salminilla are left trying to keep going with something that they just cant get out of there vains. After losing to long time members and after being banned from almost every venue in denver the two brothers decided they have had enough sittin around and need to get back on their feet. So the two go on a search for new members to fit and willing to make punk rock n roll there life and come upon a long time acquaintance Parker the animal. They had heard him play drums in a couple other bands in the scene and decided he had to be apart of this. a few practices later they realize that Parker is perfect for the band but it was still missing something. . . bass. Thats where Leo Looks comes in. At the time Looks was palying with a local band call Working Class Heros but were slowly coming to an end. We had been friends with Looks for about 5 years and realized how stupid we were for not having him in the band and asked him to join….it just seemed right. Fall of 07 comes around and the 4 start writing and playin again!! Do a small pacific northwest tour with good friends DIRTY MONEY and the ball starts rolling.. But the tour has one delay in Portland and theier van gets impounded for 5 days. With nowhere to go they stay at good friends THE SODA POP KIDS house (denvin and allen) finally get their van back and go back home. Glad to say this series of events did not stop them from going on and have been tearing up the denver scene as we know it. after months and lots of shows later T.A. decide to get into the studio and do a 7 songs demo recoding in 24 hours with lots of booze and other substances as a little help. After the hard work The Allergies are now back with a bang with new raw snotty punk rock n roll realest called “THE KILL CITY DEMOS” and now on there way to show anyone that they got what it takes to do this whole thing and their doin it together.
