Locks of Love is a non profit charity that collects donations of real human hair to make wigs for cancer patients. During the show, Offcolor’s own Andrew Rogers will be cutting off his long locks for donation! Proceeds from ticket sales will also be donated to the charity.

The year 2012- the not so distant future- society nears financial collapse as riots fill the streets and the powers that be continue to antagonize the very people they’ve sworn to protect. For those who have abandoned all hope, there’s only one option during these dark times: to suit up and party down!
The A-OKs offer their new release, Funemployment Benefits, as a soundtrack to the end of the world. A follow up to 2010′s Words Are Not For Eating, Benefits brings more of The A-OKs’ signature horny, moshy, angry, dancey sound that the Colorado scene has shown a constant and increasing enthusiasm for the past four years. Recorded and produced at the locally acclaimend Noisegate Studios, the album returns the listener to the short-lived but oft-celebrated Ska/Punk fad of the 90s and mixes in a contemporary love for metal, reggae, jazz, gospel, calypso, and hardcore. Funemployment Benefits shows off The A-OKs’ tried and true method of delivering “happy music with angry content” that will not only have you dancing, but thinking as well.
The A-OKs, recent finalists for 93.3′s Big Gig competition, have been rocking the underground Denver music scene since 2008, and since have completed two west coast tours, and are recognized worldwide as a formidable talent. The Denver Art Society is a nonprofit organization that works to connect communities through the arts.  The Society has many components, including art and performance spaces, but The Treehouse Youth Arts School is a focal project. There are over 30,000 kids in Colorado without access to any form of arts education.  The school demonstrates a commitment to uphold the right of every Denver youth (K-12) to free arts education by connecting volunteer art teachers with students in need of a safe place to explore their creativity.

ART OUT LOUD is the Society’s end of the semester benefit concert that brings together art advocates to celebrate our creative heritages, spread awareness of artlessness and raise support for public creative education.  Since Art Out Loud 2010 was such a huge success, selling out two consecutive nights, we have moved to a bigger venue to accommodate more of Denver’s great philanthropists. The money raised will help provide supplies, access to community events and other opportunities for our winter and spring semesters in local high schools.

Art Out Loud is vital in enabling the availability of a free quality arts education to the youth of Denver.  Join us, James and the Devil, Atomga Grove Alliance, Hot Cheeze Soup, Go Star, Twine! and other philanthropists in supporting the effort to enrich the creative community and sustain the arts in our city. Beginning at 7pm on December 3 at Moe’s Original BBQ in Englewood five extremely talented local bands will take the stage for a night of dancing, community strengthening and celebration.

This annual public music festival supports the non profit university that provides free creative education to children in the Denver metro area as well as the Denver Art Society.
