Our Food

Moe’s serves up a unique, all things southern, Bar-B-Que experience. Moe’s Original Bar-B-Que smokes all meats daily. Not stopping there, we also prepare numerous southern side dishes, rotating daily, to add to the experience. Creating a unique menu, atmosphere and taste, Moe’s offers a relaxed, spontaneous, soulful and civilized (sometimes) environment perfect for any get together. Moe’s also offers live music, and 8 lanes of bowling with a laid back southern feel.

Moe’s will be open for Lunch and Dinner and can cater at your location for your small company party or your large corporate function. Reserve the private dinning area at Moes’s for parties of 30 to 250. Have the office down for lunch, for a special corporate event or a product launch using our stage with PA and video projection for a full presentation while enjoying Bar-B-Que. Reserve all 8 lanes for an afternoon bowling tournament, a great way to visit with customers and clients in a relaxed southern atmosphere!

ABOUT MOE’S ORIGINAL BAR-B-QUE

A friendship formed on a common bond of bar-b-que, blues, college football and whisky, Mike Fernandez, Ben Gilbert and Jeff Kennedy met at the University of Alabama. Originating in Tuscaloosa, AL in 1988, the seeds for Moe’s Original Bar-B-Que were planted when Mike hooked up with Moses Day and began learning the process of fire roasting meats. The talk of Tuscaloosa, Day’s distinct bar-b-que flavor is the foundation Moe’s Alabama recipe is built on. By using fruitwood and hitting the meat with two different sauces, the trio knew they were onto something special. From humble beginnings catering out of a small fire pit, to selling roadside bar-b-que out of a concession trailer, big things were about to come. Sharing a common love for the mountains, Fernandez, Gilbert and Kennedy eventually would land in Vail, Colorado, refining the Moe’s style.

Soon after arriving in Vail, the three would open a carry out restaurant at Lionshead Village at the base of Vail Mountain. The gang began looking into establishing a place to begin selling whisky. Offering Maker’s Mark by the barrel, Moe’s moved back up the mountain, as well as opened a new joint in Eagle, CO. Once Moes Original Bar-B-Que had established stores in Lionshead Village in Vail Mountain and the Eagle location, the Bama Boys began to expand to Orange Beach, and Birmingham, Alabama.
